What does our MP want?

I see that Mike Hill is sending out letters to people justifying his position on Brexit. Evidently, if you voted for him (or Carl Jackson the Conservative candidate) in 2017, then you were also voting no to a No Deal Brexit. Now this has come as a shock to many Hartlepool Leavers who voted Labour thinking leave means leave - no matter what.

Now I personally don't have a problem with voting against a No Deal Brexit - I believe it will cause untold damage to the UK economy, and to the North East in particular. What I do have a problem with, is understanding what Mike thinks the realistic solution to all this is.

He doesn't like Teresa May's deal either, but we also know the EU are not going to renegotiate a new deal. This doesn't leave Mr Hill with many options left. In fact, it probably leaves only remaining in the EU which is what the Liberal Democrats are fighting for.

So what is our MP proposing to vote for? I think the people of Hartlepool need to know. It's clear that Labour doesn't know what it wants over Brexit. There's no clear leadership and the Party is divided over the issue. We might want to remember this when it's election time again. What does our MP want?
