Honesty is the best Policy

When I express my political views on local social media, a post about the Lib Dems being a Party of liars is never far away. We've made some mistakes in the past granted, and we are paying for them still. But hand on heart, which Parties haven't made good intentioned promises that they then haven't kept? Not one. And that's why there's so much distrust amongst the public - in fact, politicians can't even deliver on the promised Brexit can they.

But we have some dangerous comments coming from the Tory leadership contenders and the Labour Party currently, saying that they can renegotiate a better Brexit deal. This is a lie. The EU has made it clear that a deal has been negotiated already. So, we'll be faced with Teresa May's deal that virtually everyone has derided, a No Deal that most MPs have voted against, or staying in the EU.

It seems as though Teresa's deal is a non-starter having been voted down on several occasions. Therefore, we seem to have two choices - a No Deal Brexit, or staying in the EU. That seems to be the choice. And if that is the choice then you have two ways of communicating your view on the matter - vote for the Brexit Party, or vote for one of the Remain Parties like the Lib Dems. At least you know where they will stand on Brexit at the next General Election.
